Ziferblat
Ziferblat is a pay-per-minute social space that aims to be an extension of your home: everything inside is free except the time you spend there, which is charged per minute with a day cap.
Home to freelancers, small businesses, local events, and social gatherings, Ziferblat welcomes over 10,000 guests per month and have run over 1800 events. Opened in 2015, Ziferblat UK has opened branches in Manchester, Liverpool, and MediaCity, with more coming.
When Ziferblat opened its Manchester branch in early 2015, the team was looking for a local provider that could bring ultrafast internet to the space to cater to customers that wanted to surf and relax, and freelancers looking for a robust internet connection. This was a key part of Ziferblat's "everything free and unlimited" policy, including drinks, cakes, biscuits, and access to ultrafast wifi.
"Being a Manchester based start up we wanted to work with people who were local to us and contribute to the city. Telcom do exactly that. It was a no brainer for us to work with them given the quality of their product and their sensitivity to our budgets." says Gareth, Head of Operations of Ziferblat UK.
Over the past two years, Ziferblat has opened two more pay-per-minute venues: one in Liverpool and one in MediaCity, both using a TelcomUnity internet connection. We're proud to serve such an iconic space that hosts many local businesses and creatives working from this cosy place.
